Stablecoins are meant to make moving value easier, but the chain your USDC sits on can still create extra steps. You may have USDC on one network and want to use it somewhere else, only to find yourself checking bridges, supported assets and different routes before you can actually make the move. That’s where the latest stonfi update is interesting. Arc, Circle’s new Layer-1 built around stablecoin finance, is now connected to STON.fi cross-chain swaps through Omniston. Users can now swap USDC on Arc across TON and other supported networks in one flow. Arc is EVM compatible and uses USDC as native gas, with a focus on payments, FX, capital markets and tokenized assets. For the initial rollout, cross-chain swaps from Arc are limited to $1,000 per transaction. It’s another step toward making the underlying chain less important to the user. Instead of thinking about where the USDC is sitting first, the experience moves closer to simply choosing the asset and destination. More networks connected means more routes to work with, and fewer separate steps for the user. #BTC Price Analysis# #Macro Insights# $XRP $BCH
