$BP is becoming more interesting as Backpack expands its role in the Solana ecosystem

Backpack started with a wallet and exchange, but it is now building something much bigger: a crypto-native financial platform connecting trading, self-custody, tokenized stocks and traditional securities.

The latest expansion is especially interesting.

Backpack Securities is bringing real U.S. stocks and ETFs onchain, with tokenized securities trading 24/7 on Solana. The platform has also introduced unified portfolio margin, allowing eligible stock and ETF holdings to be used as collateral for trading.

The scale is starting to show. Backpack says its first six tokenized securities generated $1.5B in trading volume during their first month.

That creates a potential flywheel:

More assets → more trading activity → more users → more liquidity → stronger Backpack ecosystem.

The recent price action reflects this growing attention. BP is around $0.85, with a market cap of ~$212.5M, FDV of ~$850M and 24h volume of ~$22.4M. It also recently reached a new ATH near $0.99.

The key question is whether Backpack can turn this expanding financial infrastructure into sustainable value for BP.

For now, the growth of Backpack itself is becoming an important part of the BP thesis.
