What does "funding is very low" mean?
In futures trading, funding rate is the fee longs pay shorts (or opposite). Very low / negative funding means most traders are already shorting, so shorts are paying less or even getting paid. Some traders see it as a chance to short because the cost to hold a short is low.
It does NOT guarantee price will go down. Low funding often happens after a big pump when everyone tries to short the top - and it can squeeze back up hard.
