Bitcoin ($BTC ) climbed to around $81,000 even as major central banks raised interest rates, highlighting strong risk appetite and market resilience.

BTC hit a 14-day high near $81,000 in the same week the Fed and Bank of Japan hiked rates and the CLARITY Act failed.

The move was driven by a mix of “already priced-in” rate hikes, ETF inflows and a short squeeze that liquidated heavily leveraged bearish positions.

The key zone around $80,000–$82,000 remains major resistance, with future rate decisions, ETF flows and macro shocks likely to determine whether this breakout is sustained.
