I can probably squeeze a few more easy posts out of the “this security is now tokenized” headlines. Within a couple of years, “now tokenized” will feel as routine as a broker adding another ticker. Nike is leaving the S&P 100. Its stock just got tokenized on Solana $NKE September 4: • S&P announces four index departures, effective September 21: Nike, Colgate-Palmolive, Simon Property Group and Honeywell Aerospace • Dell, Palo Alto Networks, Arista and SanDisk take their seats. • Nike is down more than 75% in five years, $46.4B revenue in FY26, Greater China down 17% last quarter. September 8: • Backpack listed tokenized Nike stock on Solana, along with 19 other tickers. Backpack had already tokenized SpaceX, Micron, SanDisk, Intel, Robinhood.
