Three people were killed and eight others injured in a shooting at Banga National High School in South Cotabato, southern Philippines, on Friday.
According to local officials, the gunman was a 16-year-old student who later died. Two of the victims were 14-year-old students. Four of the injured are reported to be in critical condition. All victims were students aged 14–17.
Classes in the municipality have been suspended as authorities investigate the incident. This marks the third deadly school shooting in the Philippines since June.
