$72M BTC & ETH Short Before the CLARITY Act: What We Actually Know

a rumor is getting attention: an alleged $72 million short position in Bitcoin and $NVDAB was supposedly opened before the U.S. Senate's CLARITY Act vote.

If true, the timing would certainly raise questions. But there is an important point that $NVDAB users should remember: a rumor is not proof. I have not seen reliable evidence confirming that this trade was actually made by Barron Trump.

The CLARITY Act itself is real. On September 15, the U.S. Senate failed to advance the bill in a procedural vote, with the vote ending 49–50. The bill was intended to create a broader regulatory framework for digital assets.

For me, the biggest lesson is not to trade simply because a post or rumor is trending. Large claims need evidence, especially when they involve public figures and very large amounts of money.

closely and looking for confirmed information rather than making a decision based on an unverified rumor.

What do you think — should traders pay attention to rumors like this, or wait for confirmed evidence?
