not gonna lie, this$SOL Solana update kinda snuck past everyone this week. the network's new v1 transaction format just went live on mainnet, bumping the size limit from 1,232 bytes all the way up to 4,096 bytes. sounds boring until you realize that means bigger, more complex transactions can finally fit in a single block instead of getting split up or rejected. this is the kind of infrastructure upgrade nobody hypes up but everyone benefits from later.
