Aside from the crazy $BTC run, August hit a crazy record with almost 2.9 million tokens launched on launchpads, triple what we saw a year ago. Flapsh and Pumpfun $PUMP ran the show, dropping 1.4M and 1.2M tokens and making up about 90% of the total. Honestly, the sheer volume is impressive and shows how easy these platforms make it for anyone to launch a coin, but most of them are probably low-effort memecoins that will vanish fast.
