🚹 FED RATE HIKE NOW LIKELY!?

Markets are pricing an 85%+ chance of a 25 bps interest rate hike this week. This would be the Fed’s first rate hike in roughly three years.

25 basis point hike = basically priced in

But here’s the counter-narrative:

Trump picked Kevin Warsh on purpose.

Wouldn't you think that 'not hiking rates before midterms' would HAVE TO BE a prerequisite for Trump to nominate him in the first place?

If that is the case, are we really supposed to believe his hand-picked Fed Chair oversees a rate hike right before the midterms?

Maybe the "obvious" trade isn’t so obvious
