Cross-chain protocol Chainflip has disclosed a security incident involving Tron-based USDT. According to the project, attackers carried out six unauthorized payments and stole 736,442.17 USDT.
Chainflip said it has recovered an additional 115,654.41 USDT so far. The incident underscores the operational and smart-contract risks that can arise in cross-chain infrastructure and decentralized finance.
TRX/USDT on Binance is currently trading at $0.3388, down about 0.5% over the past 24 hours. Its 24-hour high was $0.3416 and low was $0.3378.
