Lisk’s Big Shift Is More Important Than Its Price Move Lisk ($LSK ) is an interesting project to watch because its story is changing quickly. Lisk is moving away from its identity as an independent blockchain and toward business-focused money operations, with a focus on fiat and stablecoin payment infrastructure. That makes the project worth evaluating on more than its recent price movement. CMC describes Lisk as software for businesses managing accounts, payments, and approvals across fiat and stablecoin rails. LSK is now positioned as a loyalty token within this ecosystem, with additional utility planned over time. The transition is significant. Lisk has announced that its original chain will shut down on October 31, 2026, meaning users still holding assets on Lisk Chain need to migrate them to Ethereum before the deadline. For the token, this creates both an opportunity and a challenge. The opportunity is clear: if Lisk can attract businesses that need simpler treasury, payment, and stablecoin workflows, the new direction could create a more practical use case. The challenge is adoption. A change in narrative does not automatically create demand. The project needs real businesses using the platform, while the utility of LSK needs to develop alongside that adoption. For me, Lisk is a useful example of why crypto projects should be evaluated based on where they are going, not only where they came from. The old Lisk thesis was centered on blockchain infrastructure. The new thesis is much closer to business finance and payment operations. Whether that transition succeeds will depend on execution, adoption, and whether the new platform can solve a real problem for businesses. $LSK #Lisk #Crypto
