been following the RWA space since 2024 and it’s been interesting seeing how things have evolved

it started with a lot of what can we tokenize?

now we’re seeing more focus on what happens after the asset is tokenized

this CantonNetwork case study caught my eye

they ran a pilot around tokenized U.S. Treasuries being used as collateral:

26 organizations
21 participant nodes
100+ transactions

and Canton says more than $9T in real-world assets are processed onchain each month

some pretty big names are already involved with Canton

DTCC is working on tokenizing U.S. Treasuries on Canton

Visa became a Canton Super Validator

JPMorgan is bringing $JPM Coin onto the network

what i like about this is that it’s not just another put RWAs onchain story

they’re looking at things institutions actually need:

privacy
compliance
settlement
interoperability

Canton obviously isn’t the only network working on RWAs and that’s a good thing imo

different chains, different approaches, different use cases
let’s see what works

but tokenized Treasuries being tested as collateral?
