🚨 BREAKING: Grayscale Files to Convert Litecoin Trust into Spot ETF
SEC has received Grayscale’s Amendment No. 1 to Form S-3.
The plan: Rename Grayscale Litecoin Trust → Grayscale Litecoin Trust ETF and list shares on NYSE Arca under ticker $LTCN.
Currently trading OTC since 2020, the trust has ~$82M in assets (as of June 2026). Once approved, it will get proper creation/redemption — ending big premiums/discounts and tracking Litecoin NAV much better.
NYSE Arca’s 19b-4 application has been pending since Jan 2025. Both S-3 effectiveness + 19b-4 approval still needed.
