TOKENS IN A SINGLE DAY
On Sept. 10, Solana set a new record with
more than 263,000 SPL tokens issued
within 24 hours, according to Solscan. That
was over five times the previous peak of
roughly 40,000-50,000 tokens per day seen
during the December 2024 memecoin
frenzy.
Of the total, 40,360 tokens, or about 15%,
were created through launchpads
services that let users launch memecoins
quickly with little or no coding required.
