White-hat hackers stole more than 4,000 BTC from Blockstream and now want to keep part of it as a reward.
Blockstream, unsurprisingly, doesn’t seem to be happy with that arrangement and is demanding the remaining Bitcoin back.
An interesting situation: they stole it — found a vulnerability — called themselves white-hat hackers — and now they also want a percentage for the work they did.
The only question is: where does “ethical hacking” end and ordinary theft begin?
