During the monitoring period, the hub recorded 406 active connections, slightly above the recent average of 401. Median peer latency also stayed close to normal levels. Peer disconnections have declined, while abuse-related disconnects remain relatively limited. The update comes after July’s manifest flood attack disrupted peer connectivity across the XRPL. Attackers overwhelmed nodes with fake or unverified validator manifests, putting additional pressure on CPU and memory resources. Some nodes began disconnecting from peers to prevent resource exhaustion. Despite the disruption, sufficient validator connectivity remained intact, allowing the network to continue reaching consensus.
