Bitcoin $BTC is closing out an insane August.
BTC started the month around the $62K–$64K zone, rallied above $81K, and is now consolidating around $77K–$78K.
That’s roughly a 25–30% monthly move.
But after that kind of rally, I don’t want to chase candles.
I want to know where the next high-probability setup could appear. 👇
📊 LEVELS I’M WATCHING
🟢 $77K–$75K = major support zone
🔴 $80K–$82K = major resistance
BTC already rejected the $81K–$82K area once.
Meanwhile, the macro environment isn’t exactly friendly. Kevin Warsh’s hawkish comments pushed rate-hike expectations higher, while geopolitical tensions are keeping markets nervous.
So here’s how I’m looking at it:
🟢 BULLISH SETUP
If BTC holds $77K and reclaims $79K–$80K with volume, I’d watch:
🎯 $81K
🎯 $82K
🎯 Potential continuation above the breakout
Confirmation > prediction.
I don’t need to guess the bottom.
🔴 BEARISH SETUP
If $77K breaks decisively and sellers maintain control:
🎯 $75K becomes the next zone I’d watch.
And if $75K fails, the August rally could require a much deeper correction.
🧠 MY TAKE
After a 25%+ monthly rally, consolidation is not automatically bearish.
For me, the cleanest trade is waiting for BTC to show which side of the range it wants.
I’d rather miss the first 2% than enter the wrong side of a 10% move.
BTC setup right now:
🟢 Break $80K → bullish
🔴 Lose $77K → bearish
🟡 Between them → WAIT
What are you trading?
LONG 🟢 / SHORT 🔴 / WAIT 🟡
