$BTC Bitcoin surged from the Friday low spike at 76800 all the way up to 79000+, and Ethereum climbed from 2400 to 2530, really intense 😵💫
My Bitcoin long position at 77000 was mostly closed just above 78000, a bit of a missed sell opportunity 😭 I even reversed to short Ethereum $ETH at 2473, and before sleeping I saw it rally to 2530. I set a stop loss at 2539 and went to sleep, thinking if it hits the stop loss, so be it!
Woke up and surprisingly the stop loss wasn’t triggered, and I’m even in profit 💰
This clearly shows that the spike to 2532 was to trigger stop losses on high-leverage short orders, then quickly drop. Yesterday’s stop loss hunt likely forced shorts out, probably to sweep out the weak shorts 🫠
Currently, I’m still holding the short at 2470, still expecting it to break down below 📉2300 💪
