🚨 CRYPTO MARKET UPDATE — AUGUST 29, 2026 🚨
📉 Bitcoin Faces Short-Term Selling Pressure
Bitcoin is currently trading around the $77K–$78K zone, after a sharp pullback from the recent move above $80K. BTC is down roughly 3% over the past 24 hours, while Ethereum, BNB and XRP are also trading lower.
🔍 What Is Driving The Market?
The latest weakness is largely connected to a more hawkish U.S. monetary-policy outlook following Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s comments at Jackson Hole. Higher rate expectations are putting pressure on risk assets, including crypto.
At the same time, Bitcoin’s recent rally had been supported by strong institutional demand. Spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted around $2.5B over seven trading days, although the latest session saw a reversal with approximately $202M in outflows.
📊 BTC Technical Outlook
Resistance: $80,000–$82,000
Near-term support: $76,000–$77,000
Major support: $73,000–$75,000
If BTC can reclaim and hold $80K, bullish momentum could return quickly.
However, if $76K breaks decisively, another deeper correction toward the $73K–$75K area becomes possible.
🧠 My Market View
The current structure looks short-term bearish/volatile, but the broader trend should not be considered broken solely because of one pullback.
The key question now is whether buyers step in around the $76K–$77K support zone.
⚠️ Do not chase the market during high volatility. Wait for confirmation, manage risk carefully, and avoid excessive leverage.
BTC is at a decision zone — the next major move could depend on whether $76K support holds or $80K resistance is reclaimed.
