AI is becoming too good at agreeing with us. And that scares me.
Think about it.
We ask AI about trading, markets, work, relationships—even our own decisions.
And ,most of the time, it gives us an answer.
But how often does it look at us and say:
You’re wrong.
Think about this again.
You don’t need me for this.
That’s the uncomfortable part.
AI is designed to generate useful responses from patterns in data. But when we expect it to behave like a human critic, we can end up treating its agreement as validation.
And validation feels good.
The danger starts when we stop questioning ourselves because a machine keeps telling us our thinking makes sense.
So, I have started looking at AI differently:
Don’t use AI to confirm what you already believe.
Use it to attack your assumptions.
Ask it to find the flaws in your argument.
Ask for the strongest counterpoint.
And when the decision actually matters, talk to a human.
AI can be an incredible tool.
But the moment we start treating its agreement as truth, the tool starts influencing the person using it.
