I opened the current structure and one thing stands out: BTC has recovered sharply from the mid-$60Ks, but price is now entering a heavy supply area where chasing longs becomes risky.
đ Market Snapshot
⢠BTC: ~$79.3Kâ$79.7K
⢠24H change: roughly +1.2%
⢠24H range: ~$77.6Kâ$80.5K
⢠Market cap: ~$1.59T
⢠24H volume: ~$30.8B
⢠Circulating supply: ~20.08M BTC
⢠Max supply: 21M BTC
⢠BTC dominance: ~59.3%
⢠ETH is also gaining, trading around $2.5K, keeping the broader market constructive.
đ What Iâm Seeing
BTC is holding above the recent $77Kâ$78K area after reclaiming $80K earlier this week.
But the important part is above us.
The $81Kâ$83K region is a major decision zone, while the broader supply wall extends toward roughly $86K. A clean daily/4H acceptance above this area would materially strengthen the bullish structure.
For now, I would call the move bullish, but confirmation-dependent.
đ° Fresh Catalyst
Spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded an eighth consecutive day of net inflows, with roughly $2.8B flowing in during that streak. Institutional demand is therefore providing real support behind this rebound rather than the move being purely retail speculation.
Macro is also helping: Reuters reported that the weaker dollar and Treasury bond-buyback plans have strengthened demand for scarce assets such as Bitcoin and gold.
Impact: Bullish
⥠Futures Check
Current BTC futures open interest is around $55.2B, with roughly $59B in 24H futures volume according to CoinGlass. That is significant leverage sitting around the market, so a rejection from resistance could produce sharp volatility in either direction.
I would not label the current move as purely ânew longsâ because the recent rally was also heavily influenced by short liquidation/short-covering activity. Recent reports highlighted an unusually large short squeeze as a major driver of the recovery.
đŻ Technical Trade Plan
Preferred idea: LONG on controlled pullback
Entry Zone: $78,200 â $79,000
TP1: $81,200
TP2: $83,000
TP3: $86,000
SL: $76,800
Approx. R:R:
⢠TP1 â 1:1.6
⢠TP2 â 1:2.5
⢠TP3 â 1:3.8
I prefer buying a confirmed retest rather than chasing a vertical candle into $81K+.
đ Bullish Scenario
If BTC gets a strong 4H close above $83K with expanding spot volume and holds the breakout on retest, the next major upside area becomes $86K.
Above $86K, the chart opens considerably more room toward the previous major highs.
đť Bearish Scenario
If BTC repeatedly rejects $81Kâ$83K and loses $77K with a convincing 4H close, the bullish setup weakens.
The first downside area I would watch is the mid-$70Ks, which has been identified as an important support region.
â Invalidation
Bullish invalidation: 4H close below $76,800.
Until that happens, the higher-timeframe recovery structure remains constructive â but resistance overhead means risk is elevated.
Impact Score: 8.4/10
My view: Bullish above $77K, confirmation needed above $83K.
Donât chase $BTC simply because it is near $80K. Let price come to your level, or wait for a confirmed breakout.
The market is volatile. Manage your own risk
