I’m looking at transaction counts, active users, fees, protocol revenue, and transaction frequency because numbers often reveal what excitement tries to hide. Dusk has an interesting focus on confidential financial applications, but I don’t want to assume that strong technology automatically means strong adoption.
I’ve seen this pattern before. A powerful narrative attracts attention, activity suddenly rises, and everyone starts talking about the next big opportunity. Then the excitement disappears and the real numbers are left behind. That is the moment I care about most.
I keep asking myself whether Dusk activity comes from genuine demand or incentives. If users are only active while rewards are available, I would question the sustainability. I’m also watching whether activity is concentrated among a small group, whether fees and revenue remain meaningful, and whether users continue returning naturally.
The DUSK token is another part I’m studying. I want to understand its actual necessity within the ecosystem rather than judging it through price movements.
