I keep coming back to Dusk Network because something about the data bothered me more the longer I looked at it.
I spent a few hours tracing the network activity, trying to make sense of the wallet movements and contract interactions the way I normally would. At first, I thought I was just missing a connection.
Then it clicked.
Dusk is built around confidential smart contracts and its XSC standard, so some of the usual on-chain signals I rely on simply aren't going to tell the whole story.
That sounds obvious when you say it out loud. It feels very different when you're actually sitting there trying to follow the trail.
I could see activity happening. I could see the public footprint. But when I tried to connect those pieces into a clean explanation, there was always something missing.
And honestly, that's what caught my attention.
Not some massive number. Not a wild prediction. Just the uncomfortable realization that with Dusk, the absence of visible data can itself be part of the design.
After hours of digging, I'm still stuck on one question:
How do you accurately measure what a privacy network is doing when the architecture is specifically built to keep parts of that activity hidden?
