Bitcoin has a new price target from Bernstein: $150,000 by mid-2027.

The research firm also expects $BTC to reach around $125,000 by the end of 2026 under its base-case outlook.

Bernstein links the forecast to growing institutional access, Bitcoin’s fixed supply, ETF participation and a broader shift toward scarce assets as governments deal with rising debt and currency-debasement risks.

Its base case puts Bitcoin near $300,000 in 2029, while a stronger institutional-demand scenario could push it to $200,000 by mid-2027 and potentially $500,000 during the 2029 cycle.

Around 59% of Bitcoin’s supply has reportedly not moved in the past 12 months, while ETFs and corporate treasury buyers have helped create a stronger demand base than in previous cycles.
