I keep coming back to one thing about Dusk.
It’s not just about putting financial assets onchain. The more interesting part, in my view, is making the rules around those assets actually work onchain.
A regulated asset isn’t simply something you buy and move around. There can be rules about who can own it, where it can go, when it can be transferred, and what information needs to be shared.
Usually, that compliance sits somewhere outside the asset.
What I find interesting about Dusk is the idea of bringing some of that logic directly into Confidential Security Contracts.
And the privacy side matters just as much to me. Financial institutions don’t want every sensitive detail exposed just because an asset is programmable.
That’s where Dusk gets interesting.
It’s trying to make assets programmable without making financial privacy an afterthought.
I’m still watching to see how much of this can actually work in real-world markets, not just on paper.
If Dusk can prove that, I think the story becomes much bigger than another RWA narrative.
How much of a financial asset’s rulebook should eventually live inside the code?
