I’ve been looking into Dusk Network recently and honestly one thing that caught my attention is how different it feels from projects like Ethereum and Zcash.
Ethereum is mostly about smart contracts and apps. Zcash is known more for private transactions. Dusk seems to be taking a different path with more focus on finance and regulated assets.
The privacy side is probably what interests me most.
When you think about traditional finance you can’t really hide everything. There are rules checks and other things that still need to happen. But at the same time it doesn’t make much sense for everyone’s financial information to be completely open either.
Dusk seems to be trying to find a balance between those two sides.
I’m still trying to understand all the technical stuff behind it so I won’t pretend I know everything. But the basic idea actually makes sense to me.
Rather than trying to be a blockchain that does absolutely everything Dusk seems to be focused on a specific problem and building around it.
That’s honestly why I’ve started paying more attention to it. Sometimes having a clear purpose matters more than trying to do everything at once.
