$TAO Made AI Agents Real Financial Actors 🔥 And wallet infrastructure is struggling to keep up. AI agents running on $SUI and across every major chain are being handed private keys, which means the agent holds omnipotent access to the account with no spending limits and no override. The industry workaround has been trusted enclaves and custodial wallets. Both retain a single centralized point of failure, where one compromised server or rogue operator can drain everything the agent touches. Squid Mode, built on Ika's 2PC-MPC on Sui, takes a more bolstered approach. The private key is split into two cryptographic shares, one held locally by the user and the other distributed across 100+ independent validator nodes, with no single node holding enough to sign alone. Policy is defined once by the developer and enforced at the moment of signing, on every chain the agent reaches. No operator on either side can act without the other. That policy travels with the account across EVM chains, Solana, and Sui simultaneously. This is the infrastructure that agentic finance has needed. The permission model is bounded, the enforcement is cryptographic, and no single entity in the chain needs to be trusted. Getting the key architecture right is what separates agentic DeFi that actually scales from agentic DeFi that gets exploited. I'm positioned in projects building this infrastructure. #DeFi #AI
