#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
Went digging through Dusk's Web Wallet docs to figure out what "bridging" actually means on this network, because the word gets thrown around for a few completely different things.
Turns out there are three separate paths, not one. You can migrate old ERC20 or BEP20 DUSK over to native DUSK. You can bridge native DUSK back out to BSC as BEP20. And separately — this one's not related to the first two at all — DuskDS testnet assets can bridge over to DuskEVM testnet, which is really about the two-execution-environment setup, not about token standards.
Worth being clear on this: someone converting old ERC20 tokens and someone moving assets between DuskDS and DuskEVM testnet are doing two totally different things, even though both get lumped under "bridging" casually.
What I couldn't confirm is whether Dusk flags any of these three as temporary/migration-only versus something meant to stick around permanently.
Next thing on my list to check: whether that DuskDS-to-DuskEVM bridge carries over in the same form once mainnet actually happens for DuskEVM.
