#dusk $DUSK @Dusk Privacy in Finance: Why I Find Dusk Interesting

The more I try to understand Finance and Blockchain, the more one question keeps coming to my mind: does transparency in finance really mean that everything should be visible to everyone?

For example, if I make a financial deal with a business, the other side needs to verify that the transaction is valid. But that doesn’t mean my complete financial details need to be visible to everyone. This is where I find Dusk’s approach interesting.

Dusk is a privacy-focused Layer-1 blockchain working to bring privacy and verification together for financial applications. Its Confidential Security Contracts and confidential smart contracts are part of this approach. The idea is not simply to hide information, but to keep verification possible when it is actually needed.

For me, that difference matters. Maybe the future of financial blockchain is not about hiding everything or showing everything. It could be about deciding what information should be shared, with whom, and when.

So what do you think: could controlled privacy become more useful than complete transparency in the future of finance?
