What if the biggest obstacle to institutional blockchain adoption isn't technology—but information risk?
The more I explore DUSK, the more I think that's the problem it's trying to solve.
Institutions already know how to manage capital. What they struggle with is operating in an environment where sensitive financial activity can become visible by default. That's very different from the way regulated markets normally function.
What I find interesting about DUSK is that it doesn't frame confidentiality as an optional add-on. Through Confidential Security Contracts (XSC), it treats confidentiality as part of the infrastructure itself while still supporting verifiable compliance where it's required.
That feels like a more realistic foundation for regulated finance than assuming every participant should expose the same level of information.
I've learned that infrastructure becomes valuable when it removes a friction people have quietly accepted for years.
If DUSK can reduce information risk without reducing trust, I think that may prove to be one of its most important contributions to tokenized finance.
