Previously, I thought Dusk’s privacy story was mainly about hiding financial data. The deeper I looked, the more I realized that misses the more interesting part.
Here’s how I now see the DuskEVM workflow: private financial data → confidential execution → verifiable result → authorized disclosure.

That changed how I look at privacy for regulated finance.
The important question isn’t simply whether data can stay private. It’s whether the system can verify eligibility or a transaction without forcing every participant to see the underlying financial information.
That creates a useful tension: less disclosure can improve privacy, but too little information can make verification harder.
So the metric I’d watch isn’t just “how private is it?” It’s how small Dusk can keep the disclosure surface while keeping verification strong.
