BTC 1W UPDATE

Today is the weekly closing, so this week is very important.
If BTC.D closes above 59.70%, there is a possibility that BTC Dominance could move toward the 61.44%–61.45% range. During the same period, BTC could potentially move toward $82K–$84K.
However, remember that BTC.D is still moving within a bearish structure. If BTC.D reaches the 61.45% area and confirms a close above it, it would not be good for altcoins. OTHERS.D could decline, and the uptrend support that OTHERS.D has been following since October 10, 2026 could break to the downside. That could delay a proper altseason.
In that scenario, BTC’s market capitalization may continue increasing. But when BTC eventually takes a correction, altcoins could face a major sell-off.
On the other hand, if BTC.D closes below 59.60%, or breaks down below that level next week, BTC could potentially revisit the $65K–$67K range.
The positive side of that scenario is that OTHERS.D could finally break out above its major 5-year resistance, a level where it has been rejected multiple times. One reason for those previous rejections was the continued strength of BTC.D.
OTHERS.D is also forming a falling wedge, which is generally considered a bullish pattern. A confirmed breakout above resistance could mean BTC.D starts declining while capital rotates into altcoins. If that happens, we could finally see a proper altseason, and strong altcoins could potentially make significant moves.
However, if BTC.D breaks above 61.45%, the bearish scenario for altcoins could continue. OTHERS.D may continue its downtrend and could break below the uptrend support it has followed since October 10, 2026. It could even fall toward the 3% area. After BTC pumps and later takes a correction, altcoins could potentially experience another major crash.
But according to what I’m seeing on the charts right now, I’m expecting a rejection from BTC.D and a breakout from OTHERS.D in the coming days. I believe upcoming regulatory clarity, including the potential progress of the CLARITY Act, could become an important catalyst for the
