$PUMP IS PUMPING MARKET UPDATE
$PUMP is showing serious momentum and has become one of the coins I’m watching closely right now. According to OKX historical data, PUMP traded around $0.00467–$0.00515 on August 23, after closing around $0.00467 on August 22. (OKX)
The bigger picture is even more interesting: PUMP closed near $0.00309 on August 19, then climbed to around $0.00467 by August 22 — a sharp move in just a few sessions. Trading volume also jumped significantly, reaching more than $56M on August 22.
This kind of momentum is exactly what short-term traders look for, but I’m not interested in blindly chasing a green candle.
MY pump GAME PLAN:
I’m watching the recent breakout zone and looking for price to hold above previous support.
If buyers continue defending the higher levels and volume remains strong, PUMP could have room for another continuation move.
If momentum weakens and price loses the breakout structure, I’ll wait for a pullback instead of forcing an entry.
WHY pump IS ON MY WATCHLIST:
• Strong recent momentum
• Increasing trading activity
• High volatility
• Breakout structure developing
• Strong Solana/Pump.fun narrative
• Good potential for short-term trading setups
PUMP has already attracted attention during the recent altcoin rally, previously outperforming the broader market with strong daily gains. (TradingView)
The broader crypto market is also coming off a powerful rally, with Bitcoin gaining roughly 23% during the week and reaching above $77K. That kind of market-wide momentum can create additional opportunities across high-beta altcoins. (Financial Times)
But remember:
A pumping coin can keep pumping no and it can also reverse extremely fast.
So my approach is simple:
WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION.
ENTER WITH A PLAN.
SET TARGETS.
PROTECT WITH STOP-LOSS.
For now, $PUMP is one of my favorite momentum coins to watch.
Let’s see whether buyers can push this move into another breakout or whether the market gives us a better pullback entry.
