I’ve been looking into @Dusk and honestly... I’m interested, but I’m still not fully convinced.

The privacy angle makes sense to me. Finance on a completely public blockchain sounds cool until you imagine banks, funds and companies having every position and transaction visible to everyone. That’s where Dusk starts getting interesting with confidential smart contracts and the XSC approach.

But yeah, crypto has burned me before.

I’ve seen projects with great tech, great docs, serious research... and then barely anyone actually uses them. That’s the part I keep thinking about with @Dusk . The institutional narrative sounds good, privacy + compliance + tokenized assets, but getting real institutions to actually use a blockchain is a completely different game.

It’s like building a really nice highway and then waiting to see if anyone drives on it...

I like that Dusk seems focused instead of trying to become everything for everyone. That matters. But I still want to see real issuance, real settlement, real financial products and actual demand before getting too excited.

Maybe I’m being too skeptical. Maybe this is exactly the kind of infrastructure finance needs.

For now I’m watching. The technology got my attention, but adoption is what will make me believe.
