I was digging into Dusk $DUSK #dusk @Dusk and ended up spending more time on the staking side than I expected.

There’s 210M+ DUSK staked, about 196 active nodes, roughly 10-second finality, and the network is sitting around 23% APR. The live figure is closer to 208.85M staked, so the numbers are moving rather than being some static headline metric.

What caught me was what that stake is actually doing. Dusk uses provisioners to propose blocks, while committees validate and ratify them before finality. So the staking number is tied directly to how the network secures transactions and settlement.

That made the design click for me. It’s less about “how much is staked?” and more about what that stake is securing.

If Dusk really starts pushing deeper into regulated assets, can this validator setup handle the activity that comes with it?
