$LINK DON’T CONFUSE MOMENTUM WITH CONFIRMATION

The recent $LINK move deserves attention, but I’m more interested in what happens after the impulse.

Technical readings recently identified the $9.8–$10.2 region as a major resistance cluster. LINK has since traded above $10, while derivatives data has shown bullish positioning and increased open interest.

That’s powerful but it also creates a trap.

When everyone sees the breakout, liquidity often becomes concentrated around the obvious levels.

My framework is simple:

Above $10 → bullish structure stays alive.

Successful retest → stronger confirmation.

Failure back below the breakout zone → possible false breakout.

If LINK can build a higher low above the former resistance, the next psychological area around $11 becomes much more interesting.

I don’t want to buy because LINK is moving.

I want to know whether the market is willing to defend the new level.

That’s the difference between momentum and trend.
