JD Vance slammed Democrats for abandoning working-class voters during a Michigan event, claiming the party now prioritizes "diversity quotas" over opportunity and caters to "graduate students rather than union and non-union workers."

Vance argued the modern Democratic Party bears no resemblance to JFK, FDR, or even Bill Clinton's version. He singled out Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for previously calling criticism of Sharia law "white supremacy," saying his grandfather's generation of Democrats would be appalled.

Vance also noted that every Senate Democrat voted against Trump-backed tax cuts on tips, Social Security, overtime pay, and car loans for American-made vehicles — framing these votes as proof the party has turned its back on blue-collar America.
