Strategy's Bitcoin Holdings Gain $12.9B in Just 7 Days.
Bitcoin's 24% weekly rally has completely changed the picture for Michael Saylor's Strategy. The company now holds 840,447 $BTC , and the recent move higher has added roughly $12.9 billion in unrealized value to that position in just one week.
More importantly, BTC has pushed above Strategy's average acquisition price of around $75,385, putting the company's Bitcoin holdings back into net unrealized profit for the first time since May. The position was sitting on more than $14 billion in unrealized losses as recently as July.
Strategy has also been building its cash position rather than aggressively selling BTC, with reserves reportedly reaching $4.8 billion. That gives the company more breathing room while maintaining its enormous Bitcoin exposure.
The bigger question now is whether Bitcoin can sustain this breakout. If BTC continues higher, Strategy's paper gains could expand rapidly. But with such a massive BTC position, any sharp reversal would also hit the company's balance sheet just as quickly.#BTC
