$BTC XAU/USD
Gold is around $4,590 after reaching roughly $4,601 today and remains technically strong.
🔴 Resistance: $4,600–$4,650
→ Immediate battle
🔴 Major resistance: $4,800
→ Major upside checkpoint
🟢 Support: $4,500–$4,550
→ First pullback zone
🟢 Major support: $4,400–$4,450
→ Key bullish structure
🟡 Deeper support: $4,300–$4,350
→ Larger correction zone
A decisive break above $4,650 would make the $4,800 area much more interesting, with $4,900 potentially coming into focus.
👀 The setup I’m watching
The interesting trade isn't simply BTC vs. gold.
Watch these three together:
DXY ↓
BTC ↑
XAU ↑
DXY is around 98.6, while the 10Y Treasury yield is around 4.69%.
If DXY continues toward 97–98 without a sharp spike in yields, that could remain a favorable macro backdrop for both BTC and gold.
But if DXY suddenly reclaims 100+, I'd become considerably more cautious.
🚨 What I wouldn't do
I wouldn't chase BTC at $78K simply because it's moving vertically.
I'd rather see:
BTC → pullback → $72K–$74K holds → continuation → $80K–$82K
For gold:
XAU → pullback → $4,500–$4,550 holds → $4,650 breakout
That creates a much cleaner risk/reward setup.
My current bias
₿ BTC: Bullish, but short-term overheated
🥇 XAU: Bullish and arguably cleaner technically
💵 DXY: Bearish, supporting both
The key question now isn't “Can BTC and gold go higher?”
It's “Can they hold the breakout levels on the next pullback?”
That's what I'd be watching next. 👀
