@Dusk I kept coming back to while looking into Dusk Network is how directly its privacy design is connected to financial applications.
It isn’t just describing privacy as a feature. Dusk is a Layer-1 built around Confidential Security Contracts, or XSC, which allow smart contracts to operate with confidentiality in mind.
That caught my attention because financial applications often deal with information that users may not want fully exposed on a public blockchain. At the same time, adding confidentiality can make the underlying system more complicated.
So the interesting question for me isn’t simply whether Dusk is private. It’s whether that privacy can actually make financial applications more practical without creating another layer of friction for users and developers.
That balance is what I’ll be watching most closely as I look deeper into how XSC is used.
