OKX just got hit with Claude restrictions for HK employees after Anthropic briefly suspended their corporate account.

Context: OKX burns $6M-$8M monthly on AI models. They're already rerouting affected requests to alternatives.

This is bigger than it looks. When a top-tier exchange spending 8 figures yearly on AI gets cut off, even temporarily, it signals:

1. AI providers are getting aggressive with compliance theater
2. Crypto companies are still second-class citizens in AI infrastructure
3. Centralized AI dependency is a single point of failure

OKX can absorb this. Smaller protocols can't. If you're building in crypto and relying on Claude/OpenAI without backup infra, you're exposed.

The decentralization thesis extends beyond blockchains. AI infrastructure needs the same treatment or we're just swapping TradFi gatekeepers for BigTech gatekeepers.
