#termmax @TermMax One thing about fixed-rate lending made me stop and think.
What happens if I lock a rate today… and tomorrow the market rate goes much higher?
With TermMax, the point of a fixed-rate position is predictability.
You know the rate and the term when you enter.
That sounds good.
But there is another side too.
If the market suddenly offers a better rate later, I can't simply change my fixed rate just because I changed my mind.
So I don't think fixed rate is automatically “better”.
It's more like choosing between certainty and flexibility.
If you knew the rate today was good enough for the next 3–6 months, would you lock it?
Or would you rather keep your money flexible in case a better opportunity appears?
That's honestly the part I'd want to think about before using it.
