The more i read about Dusk, the more I think I was looking at the wrong problem.

I used to see RWA as a simple equation tokenize the asset, put it onchain, make it tradable.
It sounds logical. But regulated finance is rarely just about the token.
Who can hold it? Who can transfer it? What needs to stay private? What must be disclosed? And how does the asset actually settle?
That’s where Dusk started changing my view.
Its architecture is built around financial applications, with XSC for confidential security contracts, programmable rules, selective disclosure and privacy focused transaction models.
The privacy part is especially interesting.
Dusk supports transparent activity through Moonlight and shielded transfers through Phoenix, while selective disclosure can allow specific information to be revealed when needed.
So maybe the real RWA challenge isn’t getting an asset onchain.
It’s getting the financial workflow around that asset to work there too.
But I’m still cautious. Infrastructure can make these workflows possible; it can’t force institutions to abandon systems and habits they have relied on for years.

That’s the part I’ll be watching with Dusk.
Because tokenizing an asset may be the easy part. Making the market around it truly work onchain is the harder question.
