President Donald Trump urged Congress to pass the CLARITY Act, a market-structure bill for digital assets.

Yahoo Finance reported on August 19 that Trump, speaking at a White House event with technology industry leaders, said Congress should pass the CLARITY Act. He called it a very strong, well-structured bill that would help the US stay ahead of China and every other country.

Trump also said his administration is working to ensure the US maintains its leadership in Bitcoin and digital assets.
