The Critique Landed But The Burn Mechanism Didn't Blink 🔥
Some of the pushback on 0xdeployer for launching pools.fun in collaboration with SushiSwap has been fair.
Spreading a team's attention across two products invites exactly that kind of scrutiny, and it's a legitimate question to ask. By comparison, the $PUMP team has stayed focused on one launchpad and the payoff has been obvious with $PUMP up 12% on the day and 50%+ this month.
But the day-to-day numbers aren't waiting around for that debate to resolve.
Bankr's launchpad moved roughly $5.26M combined across Base ($3.60M) and Robinhood Chain ($1.66M) in the last 24 hours.
0.25% of every swap of a new Bankr launched token gets used to buy back and burn $BNKR. That puts the last 24 hours somewhere to the tune of around $13,150 burned in a single day, according to my napkin math.
Against a $24.35M market cap, that's enough pressure to move price about 1.6% a month on its own, or to offset that much sell pressure if the broader market isn't cooperating.
Robinhood Chain is where the differentiation actually shows up though. $1.15M of Bankr's $1.66M volume today came from stock-paired tokens, a lane most launchpads still aren't in, including PUMP.
$BNKR is up 8% today, mostly bitcoin dragging the whole market with it, not the burn alone.
Still, the mechanism keeps running either way. The critique is about strategy. The tape is about survival, and right now Bankr isn't struggling to do both.
