Dusk’s Real Breakthrough May Not Be “Privacy”
I’m starting to think I misunderstood Dusk.
When I first saw #dusk $DUSK @Dusk , I thought the story was simply about private transactions.
But the deeper I look, the more interesting the architecture becomes.
I’m focused on what happens inside financial applications.
If a smart contract processes sensitive financial information, hiding the transaction alone doesn’t solve the full privacy problem. The contract logic itself can become the critical layer.
That’s why I’m paying closer attention to Dusk’s Confidential Security Contracts (XSC).
The real question I’m asking is:
Can Dusk keep sensitive contract execution confidential while still giving the network enough information to verify that everything is valid?
If the answer is yes, I think the narrative becomes much bigger than “privacy blockchain.”
It starts looking like infrastructure for financial applications that need both confidentiality and verifiability.
I’m still digging into the technical details, but this is exactly where Dusk gets interesting to me.
The token narrative comes later.
First, I want to understand the machine. 🔥🔍
