When I look at $DUSK, I don’t see privacy as the entire story.
For me, the more important question is whether blockchain can actually become useful for financial markets where confidentiality and compliance have to work together.
That is a much harder problem.
A financial institution may want faster settlement and blockchain-based infrastructure, but it cannot simply put sensitive positions, transactions and client information into a system where everyone can observe everything.
At the same time, complete secrecy creates another problem: regulators and authorized institutions still need verification.
This is why the idea behind DUSK stands out to me.
