According to CNBC, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust is buying 10 shares of GE Vernova at roughly $1,009, lifting its stake to 90 shares and increasing the portfolio weighting to about 2.3% from about 2%. The trust said GE Vernova shares were down roughly 6% on Tuesday along with the broader AI infrastructure trade, and it viewed the decline as technical pressure on momentum stocks rather than a change in fundamentals. It also said the stock was 14% below its all-time high close of $1,174 on June 30. GE Vernova has sold-out heavy-duty gas turbines and electrification solutions for data centers, and the trust said the company’s backlog rose sequentially, gas turbine pricing continued to increase, and electrification orders were 1.7x revenue after the stock fell to about $985 last month following an earnings miss.
