If I could restart from salary #1, I’d follow this order:

💰 INCOME → 🧾 BUDGET → 🛟 EMERGENCY FUND → 📚 LEARN → 📈 INVEST

Not:

💰 INCOME → 🛍️ SPEND → 😎 FLEX → 📉 PANIC → “How do I make money fast?”

A few money lessons worth learning early:

• Budgeting tells your money where to go before it mysteriously disappears.

• An emergency fund protects you from turning every unexpected expense into debt.

• Saving and investing have different jobs. Savings provide stability. Investing involves risk for potential growth.

• Diversification means you don’t make one investment responsible for your entire financial future.

• Risk tolerance matters. If a 20% drop makes you lose sleep, your portfolio may be taking more risk than you can handle.

• DYOR. If your investment thesis is simply “everyone on X is bullish,” that’s not research. That’s a group project. 😭

And if crypto interests you, don’t start with “Which coin will 100x?”

Start with:

“What am I actually buying?”

“What can go wrong?”

“How much can I afford to lose?”
